and what comes next.

Conversations Worth Having

Topics families bring us

None of these mean something is wrong. Most are part of growing up. They're worth attention when they get in the way of your child living the life you want for them.

Screen Time & Digital Wellness

Screens are part of childhood now. We help families build rhythms that protect attention, sleep, and real-world connection without a constant battle.

Sleep & Rest

Sleep is the foundation under everything else. When a child or teen isn't resting, mood, focus, and patience all wobble. We help find what's actually in the way.

Mood & Big Feelings

Sadness, irritability, and withdrawal are part of growing up, and sometimes they're more than that. We help families tell the difference and respond well.

Identity & Belonging

Adolescence is where a young person asks who they are. We hold space for questions of identity, values, and self-concept without pathologizing the exploration.

Friendships & Social Growth

Social development isn't linear. We support kids and teens through peer conflict, isolation, social anxiety, and the work of learning to belong.

Attention & Focus

An ADHD brain isn't broken, it's built differently. We help families understand how it works and build systems that work with it, not against it.

Sensory Differences

Loud, bright, scratchy, overwhelming. For some kids the world hits harder. We help families make sense of sensory needs and build environments that fit.

Learning & School Stress

School can be a source of pride or daily dread. We help untangle what's actually hard, whether it's a learning difference, anxiety, or simply a poor fit.

The goal isn't a child who never struggles. It's a child who knows what to do when they do.
What Support Looks Like

Beyond the diagnosis

A label alone doesn't change a child's week. What changes it is the support that follows. Here's what that can look like for three of the most common reasons families come to us.

Autism Spectrum

Autism support is about fit, not fixing. The goal is a young person who understands how they're wired and lives well inside it.

At Home

Predictable routines, sensory-friendly spaces, and shared language for what's hard and what helps. Parents learn to read the signal under the behavior.

At School

Quiet work spaces, breaks when overwhelmed, advance warning of transitions, and explicit social scaffolding rather than assumed social learning.

In Therapy

Self-advocacy coaching, emotional regulation skills, and help making sense of a neurotypical world without framing the child as wrong.

ADHD

ADHD support builds external structure where internal structure is unreliable, and treats the child's differences as design problems, not character flaws.

At Home

Visual routines, body-doubling for hard tasks, movement breaks, and homework systems that don't end in tears. Parents learn to coach, not police.

At School

Preferential seating, reduced distraction testing, extended time, chunked assignments, and a discreet signal for breaks.

In Therapy

Executive function coaching, habit and systems design, emotional regulation for the frustration ADHD brings, and coordination with your pediatrician when medication is part of the plan.

Learning Differences

A learning difference isn't a ceiling. With the right accommodations and instruction, a struggling student can become a confident one.

At Home

Reading and writing supports that match how your child learns, assistive technology, and homework approaches that build skill instead of burnout.

At School

A 504 or IEP with specific accommodations: extended time, reduced distraction testing, audio text, alternative response formats, and explicit instruction in the area of need.

In Therapy

Support for the confidence and anxiety that often travel with learning differences, plus advocacy coaching so the student can eventually speak for their own needs.

Curated for Families

Guides for the questions that come up at home.

Practical, non-alarmist reads on the topics families ask us about most. Written by our clinicians, grounded in what actually helps.

When an Evaluation Helps

Sometimes the questions need data.

Therapy can go a long way on its own. But when a child is struggling in ways that don't respond to support, or when a school is asking for documentation, a rigorous psychological evaluation can clarify what's actually happening and unlock the right accommodations.

We evaluate ADHD, autism, learning differences, and emotional functioning in children and adolescents ages 6 through 17, using a multi-informant approach that brings in parents, teachers, and the child themselves.
